We celebrate independent, social-issue media through <a href="http://www.bigmouthfilms.org/">Big Mouth Films</a>, <a href="http://mediarights.org/">MediaRights.org</a>, <a href="http://www.docuclub.org/">DocuClub</a> and <a href="http://www.mediathatmattersfest.org/">Media That Matters Film Festival</a>. Over the last several years, Arts Engine produced three Big Mouth Films, <a href="http://www.electiondaythemovie.com/"><em>Election Day</em></a>, <a href="http://www.pbs.org/pov/pov2007/arcticson/" target="_blank"><em>Arctic Son</em></a> and <a href="http://www.artsengine.net/pushing_the_elephant/"><em>Pushing the Elephant</em></a>, which have all been selected as part of public television’s acclaimed programming through POV or Independent Lens. MediaRights.org is home to many resources for more than 23,000 <a href="http://www.mediarights.org/form/registration/">members</a> and hundreds of thousands of online users annually, including over 7,000 <a href="http://www.mediarights.org/film/">social-issue and documentary films</a> in a database available for free online, a monthly newsletter, <a href="http://www.mediarights.org/news/archives_by_category/90_second_cinema">90-Second Cinema</a> and <a href="http://mediarights.org/news/archives_by_category/shortlist">Shortlist</a> (a periodic selection of documentaries that draws attention to films that inspire intellectual, artistic and activist leaders).
